Moscow, December 31 – The defender and captain of the St. Petersburg football club “Zenith” Diane Lovren agreed to sign a contract with the French “Lyon”, according to the L’Equipe newspaper.
According to the source, he has already passed the medical examination. The current contract of the 33-year-old Croatian player with St. Petersburg is calculated until the end of the current season.

Lovren has represented Zenit since the summer of 2020, making 63 appearances for the club, scoring three goals and providing three assists. He won the Russian Championship twice and the Russian Cup three times. Before Zenit, he played for the English Liverpool, with whom he won the Champions League, the champion of England and the owner of the European Super Cup.
