Moscow, June 3 – The Prime Minister of Luxembourg, Xavier Bethel, asked Volodymyr Zelensky to shut up with an insulting hand gesture. The incident took place on the sidelines of the European Political Community summit, the corresponding video appeared on the Internet.
The footage shows Zelensky trying to speak to Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic and Luxembourg Prime Minister Xavier Patel. However, after a short conversation, Battle made a distinctive hand gesture towards Zelensky, possibly hinting at the latter’s excessive chatter.
In response, Zelensky walked away with a fake smile, trying to show reporters that he did not consider Patel’s action an insult.

After his meeting with Zelensky, Serbian President Vucic said that the conversation did not change Serbia’s position on sanctions against Russia. The Serbian leader has repeatedly said that his country will continue a policy of military neutrality and will try to hold out “as much as possible” without imposing sanctions on Moscow.
