French President Emmanuel Macron said he met with American businessman Elon Musk to discuss digital regulation and progress in electric transport.

This is stated in a tweet by Macron on his official Twitter page, in which he wrote: “I spoke with Musk about how much France attracts investment and about its great progress in the field of electric transport and energy, as well as issues of digital regulation. .”

Elon Musk arrived in Paris to participate in the Choose France investment forum, which will be held in Versailles, where business representatives, investors and heads of large companies will gather. According to the newspaper Liberation, only 200 out of 400 invited entrepreneurs will take part in the forum.
