Malkin achieves full season play for first time since 2008/09 in all league matches

Moscow, April 14 – Russian striker “Pittsburgh Penguins” Evgeny Malkin played in all 82 matches of the regular season of the National Hockey League (NHL) season 2022/23.
The Penguins take part in the game against the Columbus Blue Jackets. Thus, Malkin did not miss a single championship meeting this season. The last time the 36-year-old Russian played in all matches of the regular season in the 2008/09 season, scoring 113 points (35 goals and 78 assists). At the end of that season, “Pittsburgh” won the Stanley Cup, and Malkin became the owner of the Art Ross Trophy top scorer award.

In 81 games of the 2022/23 season, Evgeny Malkin scored 83 points (27 goals and 56 assists). Pittsburgh missed the NHL playoffs for the first time since the 2005/06 season.
