Moscow, February 19 – Pittsburgh Penguins forward Evgeny Malkin is 50th on the list of all-time scorers in the National Hockey League (NHL).
In a match against the New Jersey Devils, the Russian scored an abandoned puck. Thanks to this goal, Malkin scored 1201 points (464 goals and 737 assists) in the 1036th game of his NHL career. According to this indicator, he overtook Pittsburgh striker Dino Cesarelli (1200 points in 1232 games) and took 50th place in the ranking of the best scorers in the league.
