Manchester United Star’s Reflection After Seven Consecutive Losses to Liverpool

Manchester United star Marcus Rashford broke his silence after his team suffered their worst ever loss to Liverpool in the Premier League era during the two teams’ showdown last Sunday.
The Manchester players looked bored, losing the match by seven goals with no answer.
In his first comment about this humiliating defeat, Rashford wrote on his Twitter account: “I was hoping we would play Liverpool to try and fix things.”
I wish we could play a game today to try and fix things. The result is the result, and we cannot see beyond that! We shouldn’t let that define our season. We have to trust the process and stick together.

He added: “The result has happened and we cannot go back. We must not let this result determine our season. We have to trust our project and stick together as a team.”
Since the departure of Portuguese Cristiano Ronaldo in the Saudi victory earlier this year, Rashford became Manchester United’s first star, where he scored 14 goals in the English Premier League, and led him a few days ago to win the English League Cup.
Manchester United are currently third in the English Premier League table with 49 points.
