Matvienko will report to Putin on the results of the conversation with the elected President of Brazil

Brazil, January 1 – Federation Council Speaker Valentina Matvienko said she will inform Russian President Vladimir Putin of the results of her talks with Brazilian President-elect Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva.

On the eve of his inauguration, the president-elect met with Matvienko, who represented Russia at the ceremony.

Matvienko added that the elected president of Brazil, as one of the founders of the BRICS group, today understands the importance of developing such complementary associations, which have already declared themselves to be strong poles in the multipolar world.
