Media: Efremov extended the contract with "Villarreal"

Moscow, February 21 – Journalist Fabrizio Romano announced on Twitter that the Russian footballer Anton Yefremov has extended his contract with Spain’s Villarreal.

The new deal with the 19-year-old, who plays for Villarreal’s third team (Villarreal C), runs until 2026 and includes the option to extend for another season.

Efremov, from Nizhny Novgorod, was a pupil of the local school, after which he studied at the Moscow Lokomotiv and Chertanovo academies. The Russian has been playing for Villarreal youth teams since 2019.
