Messi Breaks Silence on Departure from PSG with First Comment
Argentine star Lionel Messi said goodbye to his Paris Saint-Germain team and his fans by announcing his departure from the Parisian club at the end of the current season.
And Paris Saint-Germain, champions of the French football league, announced on Saturday that its striker, Argentine world champion Messi, will leave the ranks after the final match of the season, scheduled for Saturday.

The capital club said in a statement: “After two seasons in the capital, Lionel Messi’s adventure with Paris Saint-Germain will end with the end of the 2022-2023 season.”
In a farewell message, Messi said on the website of the Paris Saint-Germain club: “Thank you to the club, the city of Paris and its people for these two years and I wish them all the best for the future.”
Messi left the Paris team due to the expiration of his contract with the club on June 30, in order to be free to move to any team.
The Argentine star scored 32 goals and provided 35 assists in 74 games for Saint-Germain and brought the team three local titles: twice the League and the French Super Cup.
Everyone is waiting for Messi’s decision regarding his next destination between Saudi club Al-Hilal, American Inter Miami and Spain’s Barcelona.
