Messi Leads Argentina on an Asian Tour

Argentina and Australia will face off in a friendly on June 15 at the Workers’ Stadium in Beijing, China, according to the China Football Association.

And the Chinese media reported today, Friday, that the Argentina national team, the world champion, will arrive in Beijing with all its stars led by Lionel Messi as part of the Asian tour, which will be held by “tango dancers”, including a friendly match against Indonesia on June 18 next of the year.

Argentina enjoys a large fan base in China, especially since its coronation at the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar.

Immediately after the announcement of the friendly match, entrance tickets went on sale at prices ranging from 9,300 yuan ($1,320) to 19,500 yuan ($2,769).

And local media indicate that among the goals of this match is to strengthen ties between China, Argentina and Australia.
