Messi scores in his first match for Saint-Germain since winning the World Cup
Paris Saint-Germain beat their guest Angers 2-0 on Matchday 18 of the French League, in a match that marked Lionel Messi’s first appearance for PSG since his coronation with Argentina at the World Cup in Qatar.
Hugo Iketiki and Messi scored Saint Germain’s goals in the 5th and 72nd minutes.

The Parisian giant moved up to 47 points at the top of the standings, six points ahead of its closest competitor, Lens.
On the other hand, Angers’ position worsened after his score froze at 8 points in last 20th place.
