Moscow, February 9 – Defender of the Turkish national football team Miris Demiral informed On Twitter, he raised nearly 200,000 euros (4 million Turkish liras) from the sale of Portuguese striker Cristiano Ronaldo’s shirt at a charity auction, the money from which will be used to help those affected by the earthquake in Turkey.
Demiral previously sold at auction a Juventus shirt dating back to the era of Ronaldo, and the Portuguese signed it and the shirts of other players to raise money.
In addition to Ronaldo’s shirt, the defender managed to sell the shirts of Paulo Dybala from Roma and Leonardo Bonucci from Juventus for a total of €50,000. The players gave him the figure as part of a charity event. Demiral now plans to auction off the jerseys of Antoine Griezmann and Alvaro Morata, who play for Atletico Madrid.
