Moscow, May 30 – Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu said that Russian military personnel in the framework of a special military operation are acting selflessly, showing mass heroism, resilience and courage.
“I want to note that during the military special operation, our soldiers act selflessly and decisively, showing mass heroism, resilience and courage,” Shoigu said on the conference call.
He said that by decision of Russian President Vladimir Putin, the 155th Marine Brigade was awarded the Order of Zhukov. In addition, the honorary titles “Guards” were awarded to the 291st Artillery Brigade, the 55th Separate Sevastopol Helicopter Regiment and the 50th Self-Propelled Artillery Regiment.

Shoigu emphasized the work of military doctors, who, according to him, often risking their lives, save the military and provide assistance to civilians.
“More than 75% of medical service professionals have gained combat experience in the area of ​​military special operations. By decree of the President of Russia, the Vishnevsky Central Military Hospital was awarded the Order of Alexander Nevsky. Congratulations to our colleagues,” the minister added.
He noted that the Kirov Military Medical Academy had previously been awarded the Order of Alexander Nevsky.
