Moscow, February 25 – The chairman of the board of directors of “Gazprom” Alexei Miller said that he is very pleased that the players of St. Petersburg “Zenith” Malcolm and Claudinho received Russian citizenship.

On Friday, Brazilians Malcolm and Clodinho obtained Russian citizenship.

Malcolm joined Zenit in August 2019 from Barcelona, Spain. The striker has made 23 appearances for the club this season, scoring 15 goals and making seven assists. Clodinho moved to Zenit in the summer of 2021. This season the midfielder has made 19 appearances in all competitions, three goals and eight assists. Both players are Olympic champions in the Brazilian national team.
