Moscow, January 25 – The Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs confirmed to the media the News Agency information about the development of a list of “malfunctions and circumstances” under which the operation of vehicles is prohibited.
As told to the News Agency in the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia, the department is now already developing a draft decree of the Government of the Russian Federation, according to which a list of malfunctions and conditions under which vehicles are prohibited to operate should be “brought into line” with the requirements of the relevant technical regulations of the Customs Union TRTS 018 / 2011 “Hey Safety of Wheeled Vehicles”.
The document also updates the necessary GOSTs, notes the department’s press center.
Earlier, Kommersant reported that a new version of the list of “malfunctions and conditions” (regulated by a draft resolution), according to which the operation of vehicles is prohibited, has passed the stage of public discussions and will be sent for final approval. As the newspaper notes, the new list, in particular, imposes a ban on driving a car with non-standard xenon headlights or LED headlights.
