Moscow, January 16 – In 2022, the Federal Air Transport Agency registered 37 thousand drones with a maximum take-off weight of 0.15 kg to 30 kg, in total there are 70 thousand drones in the database, the Federal Air Transport Agency reports.
“During 2022, the Federal Air Transport Agency received 54.4 thousand applications for the provision of a public service – registration of civilian unmanned aircraft with a maximum take-off weight of 0.15 kg to 30 kg imported into the Russian Federation or manufactured in the Russian Federation (hereinafter – UAVs) . .. For the period from January to December 2022, the Federal Air Transport Agency registered 37.3 thousand civilian drones, while 77% of the drones were owned by individuals.

More than 94% of applications were submitted electronically through the Single Portal of General Services and the BVS Accounting Portal. In total, the Federal Air Transport Agency’s database of civilian unmanned aircraft includes 70,000 drones with a maximum take-off weight of 0.15 kg to 30 kg.
