More than 600 thousand residents of the Democratic Republic of the Congo have received Russian passports

Moscow, February 17 – Senator Natalia Nikonorova from the region said that more than 600 thousand residents of the Donetsk People’s Republic have received Russian passports.

“To date, more than 600 thousand (Russian) passports have already been received,” the politician said on the air of Russia 24 TV channel, noting that the DRC has long felt part of the Russian community.

Nikonorova added that the population of the DRC is actively participating in Russia’s political life. Thus, citizens of the republic participated in the referendum on amendments to the country’s constitution.
