Moscow, July 12 – At the height of the summer season, Turkey remains the most popular foreign destination for Russians, according to RTN.
Demand is high, despite the noticeable increase in prices. If you buy a ticket shortly before departure, you can get a discount, but, as tour operators say, well-known sold-out hotels, as a rule, are not satisfied.
In July-August, prices in many Turkish hotels increase by 30 percent compared to previous years, and taking into account the growing exchange rate, the cost of tours in rubles for some things is already twice as high.

The average check for rest on the basis of the last two weeks amounted to 88 thousand rubles per person. Average tour duration is typical for July-August of recent seasons – 9-10 nights.
“Hoteliers, of course, give discounts, but only for the next arrivals, so the depth of sales is not particularly observed. Tourists wait until the last minute,” says Anna Filatovskaya, director of the advertising and PR department of Russian Express.
According to Tez Tour, about 40 percent of hotel demand falls in the Kemer region, and the second with a share of just over 30 percent is Incekum-Alania. Hotels in the Side region took bronze with a share of 16 percent, while Belek was fourth with a share of less than 10 percent.
