Moscow, January 3 – Peter Biryukov, Deputy Mayor of Moscow for Housing, Utilities and Landscaping, told reporters that during the holidays, Muscovites should remain vigilant and not let scammers posing as employees of public utilities into their apartments.
“City services do not plan over the weekend to have door-to-door walks and inspections. If there is no emergency, utilities never come unannounced — departures are only made at the request of citizens. In an emergency, the time of arrival must be agreement,” Biryukov noted.
The deputy mayor stated that it is not uncommon for scammers, posing as employees of various utilities, to come to the apartments of Muscovites.
The head of the municipal economy complex noted that information about inspections is published in advance on the information stand at the entrance and on the website of the engineering company that conducts them.
The press service of the Metropolitan Municipal Economic Complex indicated that it is possible to clarify the data on the departure of emergency brigades by contacting the relevant services on the official website of the Moscow Government.
