New energy consumption limits were introduced in three regions of Ukraine

Moscow, January 21 – Ukrainian energy company DTEK reported that in the Kyiv, Odessa and Dnipropetrovsk regions, new energy consumption limits are being introduced from Sunday, which will allow 24-hour shutdown schedules to apply in other regions.

The company indicated that such limits would allow the application of installation closing schedules from 7:00 to 24:00 in the Odessa region, as well as the application of installation closing schedules in other regions, but around the clock.

In Ukraine, electricity production has increased, but the capacity shortage in the power system remains significant, the national energy company Ukrenergo reported earlier.
