Moscow, February 25 – Russian forward Vitaly Kravtsov has been traded from the New York Rangers to the Vancouver Canucks, according to the Canadian National Hockey League (NHL) on Twitter.
Under the terms of the trade, forward William Lockwood followed in the opposite direction, and the Rangers got a seventh round pick in the 2026 NHL Entry Draft.

Kravtsov moved to Rangers from Chelyabinsk Tractor in May 2019, but after that he played for the Russian national team on loan twice – in the 2020/21 and 2021/22 seasons. As part of the Rangers, he played 48 matches, in which he scored 10 points (5 goals + 5 assists). This season he has 28 matches and 6 (3 + 3) points.
