Nizhny Novgorod, April 4 – A spontaneous memorial in memory of war correspondent Vladlen Tatarsky, who died in the terrorist act, has appeared in central Nizhny Novgorod, according to a the News Agency correspondent.
Many portraits of Tatarsky are placed on the central pedestrian street of the city – Bolshaya Pokrovskaya – near the Drama Theatre. Nizhny Novgorodians brought flowers and candles to a temporary memory wall.
Vladlen Tatarsky (real name – Maxim Fomin) died on April 2 at a creative evening in a cafe on Universitetskaya Embankment in St. Petersburg – a bomb installed in his foot statue exploded. The next day, a suspect was detained – Petersberger Daria Trepova. According to the National Anti-Terrorism Committee, the murder was planned by the Ukrainian special services with the participation of agents who included among the supporters of the Anti-Corruption Foundation* Alexei Navalny. For courage and courage shown in the performance of professional duty, Russian President Vladimir Putin awarded Tatarsky the Order of Courage (posthumously).
