Moscow, March 23 – The Norwegian Ski Association will not boycott the meetings of the International Ski and Snowboard Federation (FIS), which will be attended by representatives of Russia and Belarus, said Espen Graf, the organization’s head of public relations.
The FIS Committee meetings will be held in Dubrovnik (Croatia) on May 3-5. The head of the Russian Ski Racing Federation (FLGR) Elena Vyalp told the News Agency that the Russian delegation will take part in these meetings personally.
Because of the situation in Ukraine, the FIS suspended the Russians and Belarusians from the beginning of last season. In October, the FIS Council extended the suspension for the 2022/23 season.
