Norwegian skiers take the podium in the sprint "classic" on me "Tour de ski"

Moscow, January 6 – Norwegian skier Lotta Wing becomes the winner in the classic race at the fifth stage of the Tour de Ski, which takes place in Val di Fiemi (Italy).

Lotta Weng in the final showed a time of 3 minutes 6.04 seconds. Her sister, Terrell Wing, finished second (+0.35 seconds). The top three is closed by their compatriot Matilda Myhrvold (+0.67 seconds).

The International Ski and Snowboard Federation (FIS) has suspended the Russians and Belarusians from the final starts of last season due to the situation in Ukraine. In October, the FIS Council extended the suspension for the 2022/23 season. Russian figure skaters compete in the stages of the National Cup.
