Earlier, Yermak announced the creation of an international advisory group Yermak-McFaul, which will draw up proposals for security guarantees for Ukraine, an action plan to tighten sanctions against the Russian Federation.

“The international working group on sanctions against Russia has submitted a new action plan to increase sanctions pressure on Russia… The new plan should be communicated to world leaders and relevant organizations dealing with the issue of sanctions as soon as possible,” Zelensky said in a statement on its website.

“Impose comprehensive sanctions on the sectors of the Russian and Belarusian military industry. The new plan also includes a ban on entering countries with tourist visas for Russians, full sanctions against the ten largest Russian banks, separating banks from the SWIFT system, and expanding individual sanctions against officials, officials of state institutions, journalists, and members of political parties. .

“We call on the International Olympic Committee (IOC), the International Paralympic Committee (IPC), international sports federations and National Olympic Committees (NOCs) to ban international sporting events organized or supported by an international sports federation or IOC in Russia or Belarus and the participation of Russian and Belarusian athletes in Any sporting events or meetings.”
