Moscow, April 21 – The press secretary of the President of the Russian Federation, Dmitry Peskov, told the News Agency that checks of statements by Kremlin officials are still being carried out, and the process is taking a long time.
The advertisements were delivered by April 1, after which the Anti-Corruption Department of the Presidential Administration began checking them. Publication of documents this year is not expected.
“Verifications have been underway for a long time,” said the agency’s spokesperson, when asked if the data validation process was completed or still in progress.

In December, Russian President Vladimir Putin signed a decree suspending the publication of official announcements of the period of a special military operation. As Peskov explained to reporters in April, at the same time, the entire basis of anti-corruption work is being preserved: the main thing is not to publish, but to submit documents. According to him, all checks conducted by special bodies are strictly regulated as before, and nothing has changed in this regard.
