OMSK, January 18 – The press service of the regional Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation reports that a resident of the Omsk region has been arrested for stealing more than 300 chocolate bars and 11 boxes of sweets from stores.
The theft became known from a shopkeeper at the entrance to the Omsk microdistrict. He said that he had taken an inventory and lost a huge amount of sweets – 176 chocolate bars were missing for 11,600 rubles. The police checked the closed-circuit television cameras and found that the 39-year-old formerly convicted citizen of the village of Luzino was involved in theft. He was arrested and taken to the police station.
“It was established that the defendant regularly stole sweets for the purpose of subsequent sale: he sold sweet goods to his friends or passers-by in the Leninsky market. In addition, the villager was engaged in similar illegal activities on Izbicheva Street. Here, in three visits, he stole 171 chocolate bars And 11 candy boxes, in which case the amount of material damage amounted to 16 thousand rubles.
The man used the conspiracy and, in order not to attract attention, changed his clothes.
A criminal case was initiated under the article “Theft”, and the accused was arrested. Three episodes of similar crimes committed in November last year have already been brought to court by the police.
