Overnight, Ukrainian forces launched 12 shells into Donetsk

Donetsk, July 5 – Ukrainian forces fired 12 155mm shells overnight into the Kuibyshevsky and Petrovsky districts of Donetsk, reported the DRC’s representative office at the Joint Center for Monitoring and Coordinating War Crimes Cases in Ukraine (JCCC).

“After 00:00 shelling was recorded by the VFU (Armed Forces of Ukraine – Ed.) In the direction: 00:20 – the settlement of Netilovo – the city of Donetsk (Kuibyshevsky district): 6 shells of 155 mm caliber were fired; 05:30 – a settlement The first Zhelannoe is the city of Donetsk (Petrovsky region): 6 155-mm shells were fired.

NATO countries use 155 mm artillery. The United States supplied Ukraine with long-range 155-mm howitzers M777, and Ukrainian forces actively use them for shelling the cities of the Donetsk and Luhansk People’s Republics. Also, the Ukrainian troops were supplied with German self-propelled guns PzH 2000, Polish Krab self-propelled guns and French CAESAR self-propelled guns with shells of this caliber.
