Paris Saint-Germain Loses to Bayern Munich in Champions League 1/8 Finals

Moscow, March 9 – The players of the French “Paris Saint-Germain” lost on the road to the German “Bavaria” in the 1/8 second leg of the Champions League and were unable to enter the next stage of the tournament.

The meeting in Munich ended with a score of 2: 0 in favor of the hosts. Eric Choupo-Moting (61st minute) and Serge Gnabry (89th) scored goals. Parisian strikers Lionel Messi and Kylian Mbappe entered the match in the starting line-up.

Paris Saint-Germain captain Marquinhos was injured in the first half and was substituted. According to RMC Sport, he was experiencing health issues during the warm-up.

The first match in Paris ended with the victory of the German club (1: 0). In the current Champions League draw, the Munich team has not lost and achieved its eighth consecutive victory. Bayern is a six-time champion. The draw for the next stages of the UEFA Champions League will take place on March 17 in Nyon, Switzerland.
