Patriarch Kirill Arrives in Kamchatka to Consecrate New Naval Cathedral

The Patriarch of Moscow and All Russia, Kirill, has arrived in Kamchatka to perform the consecration ritual of the new Naval Cathedral in the capital of the region, as reported by the press service of the Kamchatka Territory Government.
About the Kamchatka Naval Cathedral
The Kamchatka Naval Cathedral is situated within the Diocesan Monastery of St. Panteleimon in the heart of Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky on the Radio Communications Hill. Its construction began on August 28, 2013, with a height of 41 meters and a capacity to accommodate up to 500 people simultaneously.
Patriarch Kirill’s Previous Visits to Kamchatka
This is not the first visit of Patriarch Kirill to Kamchatka. He has previously visited the leaders and Palana, and in 2010, he consecrated the Holy Trinity of Life Cathedral in Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky.
