Pegula defeats Blinkova in Charleston tournament’s second round

Moscow, April 5 – Russian tennis player Anna Blinkova completed her performance at the tournament in Charleston, USA, whose prize fund exceeded $780,000.

In the second round match, Blinkova lost to the first racket of the competition, American Jessica Pegula, with a score of 2: 6, 0: 6. The meeting lasted 1 hour 4 minutes.

To reach the quarter-finals of the tournament, Pegula will compete with the winner of the match between American Sofia Kenin and Romanian Irina-Camelia Bego (15).
