Moscow, March 27 – Russian tennis player Anastasia Potapova reached the quarterfinals of the WTA 1000 tournament in Miami, USA, whose prize money is $8.8 million.
In the fourth round match, Potapova, seeded 27th, defeated China’s No. 23 Zheng Chenwen with a score of 6:4, 7:6 (7:4). The meeting lasted an hour and 40 minutes.

To reach the semi-finals of the competition, the 21-year-old Potapova, ranked 26th in the Women’s Tennis Association (WTA) rankings, will compete with the winner of the match between American Jessica Pegula (3rd seed) and Poland’s Magda Linette (20th).
