Putin congratulated Yuri Grigorovich on his birthday

Moscow, January 2 – Russian President Vladimir Putin congratulated the choreographer, People’s Artist of the USSR Yuri Grigorovich on his birthday, noting his contribution to the preservation and development of the great traditions of the National Ballet School, and the corresponding telegram was posted on the Kremlin website.
The famous Soviet and Russian ballerina, choreographer, choreographer and teacher turns 96 on Monday.
“Dear Yuri Nikolayevich! From the bottom of my heart I congratulate you on your birthday. You have devoted your talent and your whole life to the selfless service of art, and have gained fame as one of the outstanding choreographers of our time. Yuri Grigorovich was awarded many honorary titles, state prizes and prizes. People’s Artist of the USSR (1973), Hero of Socialist Labor (1986), laureate of the Lenin Prize (1970), twice laureate of the USSR State Prize (1977, 1985). He was awarded the Orders of Lenin (1976) and the October Revolution (1981), “For Merit to the Fatherland” 3 (2002), II (2007), I (2011). In 2017, he was awarded the Order of the Holy Apostle Andrew the First-Called, the highest award of the Russian Federation.
