Real Madrid beat Al Hilal by five to win their fifth Club World Cup title.
Real Madrid have won the Club World Cup for the fifth time in their history after beating Saudi Arabia’s Al Hilal 5-3 on Saturday at the Prince Moulay Abdullah Stadium in Rabat.
The Real Madrid quintet Vinicius Junior scored two goals in the 13th and 69th minutes, Federico Valverde also scored two goals in the 18th and 58th minutes, Karim Benzema in the 54th minute and Al-Hilal Musa Marega scored at the 26th minute. Lucien Vietto scored two goals in the 63rd and 79th minutes.
This is the fifth time that the Royal Club has won the title of this competition after 2014, 2016, 2017 and 2018.
The title is Real Madrid’s second this season after winning the European Super Cup against Eintracht Frankfurt last August.
On the other hand, Al-Hilal became the first Saudi team to win a Club World Cup silver medal and the third Arab team after the Moroccan Raja in 2013 and Al Ain in 2018.
