Real Madrid Coach Declined to Substitute Flying Wing for Destroyer Haaland
Real Madrid coach Carlo Ancelotti has dismissed the idea of replacing his Brazilian striker Vinicius Junior with Norwegian star Erling Haaland of Manchester City.
Tomorrow evening, Saturday, Real Madrid will host the Cadiz club in the 29th round of the Spanish Football League.
Carlo Ancelotti spoke at the press conference for the match against Cadiz, saying: “The match against Cadiz is difficult, but the team is in good shape and ready to play the match. We want to play a good match.”
He added: “We have to respect the competition in the league and if we can’t take first place, we have to be in second place. We wear a shirt that requires us to fight to the end.”
When asked about the possibility of replacing Vinicius Haaland, he replied: “No, what a question. Each player has his own characteristics.” Madrid has Vinicius and Guardiola has Haaland.”
And about his future at Real Madrid, he spoke, saying: “Do I think Perez wants me to continue? Yes, because he treats me with respect and love and continues to do so. I am sure that I will be here in next season.” ”
Regarding Manchester City’s nomination to win the championship, he replied: “It doesn’t bother me because the truth is that there are teams in English football that compete very well and it doesn’t surprise me that they are favourites.”
And the veteran Italian coach continued: “Italy this season has three teams in the quarter-finals of the Champions League and last season Spain had two teams in the semi-finals. The English think they have the strongest league, but there are other tournaments going on, such as Italy and Spain.
Carlo Ancelotti concluded his speech on the physical condition of Vinicius and Toni Kroos before the meeting in Cadiz with the words: “Vinnie has some fatigue, the same applies to Kroos. There are no injuries, some are tired, but they will go with us.”
