Real Madrid secures triumph over Chelsea and secures spot in Champions League semis

Defending champions Real Madrid have advanced to the semi-finals of the Champions League tournament after resuming a 2-0 win over Chelsea on Tuesday in the second leg of the quarter-finals.

Brazilian Rodrigo Goes scored two goals in the 58th and 80th minutes.

Real Madrid, the record holder for the most titles in the tournament (14), won the same result last Wednesday in the Spanish capital.

The Royal Club will face Manchester City of England or Bayern Munich in the semi-finals tomorrow, Wednesday, at the Allianz Arena in Munich, in the second leg, noting that City won the first leg by three without answer.
