Egypt laid the foundation stone for a $150 million tomato concentrate plant project in the Aswan Province of Upper Egypt, an industrial estate project to produce a tomato concentrate called “Red Gold”. pounds.

The project is aimed at the production of 5 thousand tons of tomato concentrate for export and the local market, and from one ton of tomato concentrate, 7 tons of fresh tomatoes are obtained, as well as the production of sauce and ketchup.

The Governor of Aswan and a delegation of Italian jewelery experts have laid the foundation stone for Master Gold Egypt’s 15,000 sq. gold artefacts to serve the population of the province, and the Master Gold industrial complex in Aswan relies on the latest Italian production technologies that guarantee the opening of major export markets for Egyptian products.

The Governor of Aswan stressed that these new factories are a great addition to the Al Alaki industrial estate, which also has 27 factories open and operating within the 34 factories planned to open and operate in stages at a cost of £150 million that will help create hundreds of jobs for the youth of the province.

He added that in the governorate, in the first phase, an industrial gold mining city will be established, which includes 3 other factories, and work will be done to remove any obstacles or ordinary obstacles with a serious investor who has a track record of success and achievement and financial soundness. which can cover the cost of the project, and this will also help legalize gold exploration legally and under the supervision of the Ministry of Petroleum and the Mineral Resources Administration.
Engineer Moataz Mahmoud said the committee is seeking, in coordination with the government, to close the economic gap by providing an investment stimulus package to encourage investors in Egypt, especially since the government has paid a high bill and made huge efforts to build infrastructure networks. , which requires the expansion of industrial projects. Which will contribute to the payment of this bill to bring Egypt into the ranks of major industrial countries.

He commended the Aswan Governor’s efforts to promote investment and work to remove barriers and procedures to open and operate more factories, as well as having a future vision for Aswan to become a gateway to trade and economics to African markets by building the base presented in the new global logistics zone, which is planned to be created.

Dr. Mohamed Megahed pointed out that the School of Applied Technology, which is part of the first phase of the gold industry complex, is among 45 schools across the country that depend on a partnership with the project investor, since admission to these schools is for students with the most outstanding preparatory certificate and the highest total.

He explained that technical education in Aswan Province is witnessing a big breakthrough at the current stage in light of the many and varied schools and fields that are able to accept students to prepare them for the projects that have been and are being implemented.
