Republika Srpska and Herzegovina President to Visit Russia in November
Republika Srpska and Herzegovina President, Milorad Dodik, has announced that he will be visiting Russia in early November to hold meetings with the Russian leadership. Dodik had previously expressed his expectation to meet with Russian President Vladimir Putin during his scheduled visit. The purpose of the visit is to discuss current issues in bilateral relations, which are friendly and based on mutual respect. Dodik also mentioned the West’s attempt to impose sanctions on Russia, but emphasized his rejection of such actions and the desire to build strong relations at a higher level. The program of meetings with Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov and President Putin is still being finalized.
