Moscow, December 24 – Rescuers have completed work on removing rubble from the site of a fire in a private nursing home in Kemerovo, where 20 people died, the News Agency reports in the press service of the Russian Emergencies Ministry.
“At 5:25 Moscow time, rescuers completed work on removing rubble from the site of the fire,” the statement said.
The fire occurred on Saturday night in a private nursing home on Tavricheskaya Street in Kemerovo. The initial fire area was 180 square meters. According to the latest data from the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia, 20 people died. The regional center for disaster medicine told the News Agency about six victims, two of whom were hospitalized in serious condition with burns. the News Agency’s emergency services reported that the nursing home has no legal status.
