Ronaldo’s powerful shot ruptures the goalpost

Portuguese star Cristiano Ronaldo regained scoring tone during his Al-Nasr team’s match against his guest Al-Raed tonight, Friday, as part of the 24th round of the Saudi Professional League Roshen.

Ronaldo scored a goal ahead of the world with a beautiful header early, already in the fourth minute of the match at the Marsoul Park stadium in the Saudi capital Riyadh.

Cristiano Ronaldo, 38, managed to interrupt the performance he needed in Al Nasr’s last three matches against Al Hilal and Al Fayhaa in the Roshen league and was eliminated from the semi-finals. King’s Cup, at the hands of Al-Wahd, lost to the Al-Alama team in two confrontations and a draw in one.

The Portugal star raised his tally to 12 goals in the Al Alama jersey in the league and finished fifth on the scorers’ list.

After Ronaldo failed to score for three matches, several press reports claimed that Al-Nasr club president Musli Al Muammar claimed to have been cheated in a deal with the Portuguese star: “I’ve only been cheated twice in my life, the first was the time when I asked for 3 kebabs and they only gave me two.” And the second time, I signed a contract with Cristiano Ronaldo.

However, Al-Nasr club press adviser Waleed Al-Muhaidib denied these allegations in a telephone conversation with the Spanish News Agency yesterday, Thursday, saying: “The statements that appeared in the Spanish press from a source on Arabia News 50 are false and incorrect form and content”.

He pointed out that the club’s president had not been interviewed by the press recently and warned that there was no website in Saudi Arabia called “Arabia News 50”, which is the source the media cited when reporting the news.
