Cristiano Ronaldo, Portugal captain, expressed his satisfaction with the historic achievement he achieved against Liechtenstein in the European Nations Cup (Euro 2024) qualifier.
Ronaldo entered the Portugal squad to face Liechtenstein, becoming the most active player at national team level with 197 international appearances, surpassing Kuwaiti Bader Al Mutawa who has 196 caps.
Ronaldo wrote on his Twitter account: “I have a lot of good feelings to come back to play again and register for our national team and the stadium which is very special to me. national teams”.

Portugal kicked off their UEFA European Nations Cup (Euro 2024) qualifiers with a 4-0 home win over Liechtenstein.
Portugal topped the group after the first round ahead of Bosnia, who beat Iceland (3-0) and drew Slovakia and Luxembourg (0-0).
