Moscow, December 26 – Russian Premier League (RPL) and CSKA Moscow Football Club officially Twitter– The accounts expressed their condolences to the family and friends of the former football player Sergey Dmitriev.
Two-time champion of the Soviet Union, champion of Russia, silver medalist of the European Football Championship Sergey Dmitriev died on Monday, at the age of 59. The causes of his death are not specified. Previously, he expressed his condolences on the death of Demirev to St. Petersburg’s Zenit.
As part of Zenit (in 1984) and CSKA Moscow (1991), Dmitriev became the USSR champion, with the capital’s Spartak he won the Russian Championship (1997), with the USSR team he became the silver medalist of the 1988 European Championship. With CSKA, Dmitriev also won the USSR Cup (1991).

Also throughout his career, Dmitriev has played for Dinamo Moscow, Tyumen, Smolensk Crystal, and has played for clubs from Spain, Austria, Switzerland, Germany, and Israel. After completing his football career, Dmitriev was engaged in coaching.
