Ruben Abeldegor Joins Italian Company ‘Como’ on Loan

Moscow, July 13 – Danish footballer Oliver Abildgaard, whose rights belong to Rubin Kazan, has moved to Como, according to the Italian Serie B team’s official website.
The lease agreement with the 27-year-old midfielder is for one year. At the end of the lease term, Dane will end the contract with Rubin.
Abildgaard joined Rubin from Danish Aalborg in July 2020. As part of the Tatarstan club, he played 62 matches, scoring one goal and giving five assists. Last summer, he expressed his desire to leave the Kazan team and took advantage of his right to suspend the contract with the club from Russia.

In May 2023, FIFA extended permission for foreign players and coaches to suspend contracts with Russian and Ukrainian clubs due to the situation in Ukraine.
