Russian Army Repels Attack by Ukrainian Forces in Kozmino, LPR

The Russian army successfully defended against an attack by the 42nd Mechanized Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Krasnolymansky direction near the settlement of Kozmino (LPR). The enemy, consisting of units from four Ukrainian brigades, suffered significant losses, with 80 Russian soldiers killed. This information was reported by the Ministry of Defense on Friday.

Furthermore, the 63rd and 67th mechanized brigades of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, along with the 5th National Guard Brigade, were also defeated in the areas of Chervonaya Dibrova (LPR), Turskoye, and Grigorovka (DRC).

The Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation further stated that “the enemy’s losses in the Krasnolemansky direction amounted to 80 Ukrainian servicemen, four armored fighting vehicles, and two pickup trucks.”
