Russian Finance Minister Siluanov Details Companies Affected by One-Time Budget Payment

Moscow, March 16 – Russian Finance Minister Anton Siluanov said that a one-time payment to the budget would affect only a tenth of Russian companies.
“If we talk about the number of companies that will be affected by this innovation, then no, this share will only be about a tenth of companies. And we are only talking about a large profitable business, about a business that will have pre-tax profits in 2021-2022 of at least a billion rubles,” he said, Speaking at the Republican People’s Party conference.

“We also propose to exclude companies from the oil and gas sector and the coal mining sector from our proposals, because we have already formed additional proposals for these companies in previous years, and this year we have also improved the mechanism for this legislation,” Siluanov added.
