Moscow, June 21 – Russian forward Grigory Denisenko has said he wants to stay with the Florida Panthers national hockey team.
Florida lost to the Vegas Golden Knights in the Stanley Cup Final. In the last match of the series, Denisenko got into the team and spent 5 minutes 57 seconds on the ice. The 22-year-old Russian’s contract expired at the end of the season, and he is in restricted free agent status.

Denisenko played 19 games in the NHL last season, recording three assists. In the farm club “Florida” in the American Hockey League (AHL), the Russian has 60 matches and 36 points (12 goals and 24 assists). Denisenko was selected 15th overall by Florida in the 2018 NBA draft and has been playing in North America since the 2020-21 season.
