Russian Post has issued an apology after a video surfaced on social media showing employees at the Omsk post office throwing bags of mail into the back of a truck.

The video, which was shared on VKontakte, a popular social network in the city, sparked anger among the public. Many were concerned about the potential damage to fragile and valuable items that may have been in those bags.

Following the incident, the press service of the post office announced that all drivers at the Omsk car depot will undergo extra training. They will be reminded of the importance of following proper procedures when handling and unpacking mail.
