Russian Rakhimova withdrew from the tennis tournament in Linz, Austria

Moscow, February 7 – Russian Kamila Rakhimova failed to reach the second round of the tennis tournament in Linz, Austria, whose prize money exceeded 225 thousand euros.

In the first round match, Rakhimova lost to German Eva Liss with a score of 4: 6, 6: 7 (5: 7). The meeting lasted 1 hour and 44 minutes. In the second set, the Russian woman led with a score of 5: 1, but in the end she lost five matches in a row and lost in a tie-break.

Rakhimova initially failed to qualify for the competition, but ended up in the main draw as a lucky loser.
