Russian Tennis Player Gracheva to Represent France in Upcoming Matches

Moscow, March 27 – Russian tennis player Varvara Gracheva has completed submitting documents to change his sports nationality, reports L’Equipe newspaper.
Gracheva has been training at the Cannes Tennis Center since 2016 and plans to start performing under the French flag.
The 22-year-old Gracheva has already passed language tests, one of the prerequisites for obtaining French citizenship, reports, citing journalist Frederic Viard.

Grachev ranks 54th in the Women’s Tennis Association (WTA) ranking. This season, for the first time in her career, she reached the final of the WTA tournament, reached the final of the tournament in Austin, where she lost to Ukrainian Marta Kostyuk.
