Saint-Germain’s Hakimi Selected for Match Against Bayern Munich
Moroccan defender Ashraf Hakimi has recovered from a hip injury and was called up to his side by Paris Saint-Germain on Monday to face Bayern Munich in the second leg of the Champions League final.
Portuguese midfielder Renato Sanchez also returned to the list of the capital’s team, which lost the first home match to Bayern 0: 1, who, in turn, recovered from a muscle injury, while his international defender Prisnel Kimpembe and Brazilian striker Neymar will be absent due to injury.
The Saint-Germain-Bayern match will take place in Munich the day after tomorrow, on Wednesday.
Hakimi returns to the stadiums days after being accused of raping a French woman.
The 24-year-old woman accused Hakimi of raping her on February 25 at his home in Boulogne-Billancourt, a western suburb of Paris.
French prosecutors have placed Hakimi, who has been under investigation since last Thursday, under judicial control to prevent his contact with the young woman.
However, he is allowed to leave French territory.
